Natalie and Matt have been an absolute joy to work with. They have an amazing chemistry together, and such a fun group of friends and family. I loved the pine cone and branch details-! The ceremony (believe it or not) was outdoors at night in January. Ceremony and reception at the Stone House at Stirling Ridge, Warren NJ.

Xochitl and Mayra from Always A Bridesmaid did an amazing job at making Mara’s vision happen- they are fantastic planners and really do a great job at making the whole day run smoothly. Every wedding I’ve worked on with them has been unique and inspiring. They also have an incredibly informative and helpful blog, packed with creative and useful ideas for the wedding planning process.

I loved exploring the surroundings at Blue Hill at Stone Barns. This is one of my favorite places to photograph weddings, but is also a great spot to visit on a relaxing day off. There are beautiful trails to walk and plenty of animals to see. Everything served at Blue Hill comes directly from their farm.

Abby and Justin put a lot of personal elements into their wedding. I loved how they included photographs from their childhood on the clothesline with their escort cards. The man who married them was a family friend, and they were married in their grandmother’s church. Abby carried her grandfather’s handkerchief and her brothers wore his cufflinks. In lieu of traditional corsages, the mothers, grandmothers, godmothers and maids of honor wore beautiful handmade purple flower brooches (found on Etsy) either on their dress, wrist or in their hair. The wreaths at church were handmade by her aunt.
My favorite touch was the lovely string of lights they added above their dance floor at Martha Clara Vineyards, in Riverhead NY.
And (of course) the cupcakes.

Sunflowers and pumpkins made this a natural and colorful wedding at Perona Farms, in Andover NJ. Kassandra and Scott were amazing and Robin Roemer and I had a wonderful time documenting their day.

This wedding was on Halloween at one of my favorite places, Blue Hill at Stone Barns, in Pocantico Hills, NY. The playful details that went into this wedding were really fun to capture. Rhian and Garrett flagged favorite destinations on vintage maps of New York and Europe. For favors, they hand selected delicious candies that were personal to their memories together and as children. They also made sure to give their flower girl and ring bearers jack-o-lantern buckets filled with candy, in hopes they would forgive them for “ruining Halloween.”

Holly + Richard have shared some very special moments with me throughout the years. I photographed their wedding at Saint Patrick’s Cathedral over 3 years ago, and also took photographs of Richard Jr. when he was tiny. A couple weeks ago, Jonathan and I traveled to their new home in Darien, CT to visit and photograph their newest addition – baby Autumn-!
She is so so cute.
I’m thankful for the sudden rain shower while we were on the golf course – As we were running for cover, we came upon a colorful wooded space that was perfect for portraits.
Kristin and Charlie had their reception at the North Jersey Country Club. The service was absolutely fantastic and we had a great time working there.

Dana and Stephen invited me to visit them at their home in Smoke Rise, a gorgeous lakeside community in Kinnelon NJ. We spent the afternoon exploring our surroundings and spending time with their adorable daschunds, Chewy and Chimay.
