Abby and Justin put a lot of personal elements into their wedding. I loved how they included photographs from their childhood on the clothesline with their escort cards. The man who married them was a family friend, and they were married in their grandmother’s church. Abby carried her grandfather’s handkerchief and her brothers wore his cufflinks. In lieu of traditional corsages, the mothers, grandmothers, godmothers and maids of honor wore beautiful handmade purple flower brooches (found on Etsy) either on their dress, wrist or in their hair. The wreaths at church were handmade by her aunt.

My favorite touch was the lovely string of lights they added above their dance floor at Martha Clara Vineyards, in Riverhead NY.

And (of course) the cupcakes.
